Exploring modes of empowerment, these adidas OZWEEGO Shoes take their inspiration from the Shanghai break dancing and hip hop scene, where expression comes in many forms. It can be subtle, and it can be big. (A metaphor for the OZWEEGO? Maybe.) But it is always, purely, you. Bold midsole lines mingle with the iconic OZWEEGO markers and the iconic eyestay. The OZWEEGO was about expression from the start.

Borrowing its form and tech from the ’98 original, the adidas Ozweego is a fusion of sport and forward-thinking design. This blacked-out edition—issued in August 2019—presents a mesh upper with TPU skin, suede and neoprene. While Three-Stripes reinforce the sides, a distinctive collar tube encourages an even distribution of pressure. The sneaker utilizes Adiprene cushioning within an EVA midsole and a durable rubber outsole.
