The ASICS women’s Gel Kayano 14 ‘Aizuri Blue’ brings back the lightweight performance running shoe originally released in 2008. The aesthetic of the lightweight sneaker reflects designer Hidenori Yamashita’s pursuit of ‘flash,’ featuring an airy mesh build with metallic silver overlays and contrasting blue accents. Tooling is true to the original, which combines dual-density EVA with visible Gel cushioning technology for enhanced impact protection.

The GEL-KAYANO® 14

• The GEL-KAYANO®️ 14 running shoe resurfaces with its vintage aesthetic and visible GEL®️ cushioning. Originally released in 2008, this version became the first iteration in the GEL-KAYANO®️ lineage to be designed by someone other than Toshikazu Kayano. This shoe improves the fit of the upper while retaining its classic layered leather and mesh construction.
• The GEL-KAYANO® 14 sneaker resurfaces with its late 2000s aesthetic as a nod to our storied GEL-KAYANO® series. Reinterpreting the shoe’s performance capabilities with updated materials and componentry, this version became the first iteration in the sneaker’s lineage to be designed by someone other than Toshikazu Kayano. Inspired by the original tooling from 2008, this shoe also features GEL® technology underfoot for advanced impact absorption.
